Role & responsibilities
DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and applications.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets in Active Directory or similar systems.
Assist in setting up and maintaining workstations, including hardware upgrades and replacements.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs or replacements.
Support network-related issues such as IP configuration and basic LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
Monitor and ensure compliance with company IT policies and security guidelines.
Document and update technical issues, solutions, and processes.
Provide remote and on-site support as required.
