Engineering Manager - Python (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers based in the US, EU, and India.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of our software products.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering practices with business objectives.

- Ensure the implementation of best practices in software development and design.

- Drive innovation and stay abreast of industry trends to keep our technology stack relevant and efficient.

- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively.

- Promote a culture of excellence in coding, testing, and deployment.

- Foster an environment of continuous learning and development within the team.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

- Strong technical background in Python and its web frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI).

- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in SQL databases, ORMs, and designing database schemas.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Experience working in a high-intensity and high-growth startup environment is a must.

- Experience working with LLMs, Langchain, is a plus
