Software Engineer (C#, .Net Core, AngularJS /React.js

Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will work together with a team of skilled software engineers to develop, support and maintain our cloud-based FastPost Accounting Hub product. The successful candidate must have a passion for software development, deeply care about code quality, be committed to continuous improvement and have excellent communication abilities. A proven results-oriented person with a delivery focus and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.

• We spend most of our coding time developing new features and making technical improvements rather than on support and maintenance
• Expansion into Financial Services industry

Qualifications

• 3+ Years Experience designing and developing applications using .Net framework, .Net Core, C#
• 3+ Years Experience designing and developing SaaS applications using distributed systems
• 2+ Years Proven experience using ORMs, Entity Framework, or NHibernate 
• 2+ Years Proven experience using relational DBMS, MS SQL Server preferred
• 2+ Years Previous experience with microservices and REST APIs
• 2+ Years proven experience working with XML and XML Standards
• 2+ Years Web Application Development using modern Web Technologies (ReactJS)
• Self-starter that can come up to speed on the existing solution and take ownership of different parts of the application
• Solid understanding of web applications including security, session management, and best practices 
• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
