As the global leader for our Insurance segment, were looking for a results-oriented Inside Sales Representative with deep knowledge of the insurance industry to join our team and drive growth.


Job Description


The Inside Sales Representative Insurance Segment will play a vital role in Visionet’s Insurance practice, focusing on identifying, qualifying, and cultivating new business opportunities. The role will leverage your understanding of the insurance industry, including areas such as underwriting, policy administration systems, claims management, actuarial processes, and regulatory reporting, to engage with prospective clients effectively. It will require knowledge of the business challenges and Visionet’s technology solutions to articlaute a value proposition during discussion with prospective leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential insurance clients, including carriers, MGAs, and reinsurers, through strategic outreach campaigns.
  • Leverage knowledge of insurance-specific functions like underwriting, policy administration systems, claims, and regulatory reporting to qualify client needs and pain points.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or demos for senior sales executives and subject matter experts.
  • Build rapport with insurance professionals by demonstrating a strong understanding of industry challenges and Visionet’s ability to provide tailored solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to potential clients, clearly articulating Visionet’s expertise in areas such as insurance digital transformation, cloud migrations, and data strategy.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
  • Regularly track and report on pipeline health and progress to leadership.
  • • Stay up-to-date on insurance industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide insights into market demands, client needs, and competitor activities to inform Visionet’s sales strategies.
  • Partner with marketing to optimize outreach campaigns and create industry-relevant content.
  • Support senior sales executives in preparing tailored proposals, presentations, and follow-up materials.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of inside sales or business development experience in the insurance industry or a technology services company focused on insurance clients.
  • Strong understanding of core insurance functions, including underwriting, policy administration, claims, actuarial, and regulatory reporting.
  • Familiarity with insurance technology solutions (e.g., policy administration systems, claims management platforms, or regulatory compliance tools).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation platforms.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
