Product Owner - IT (3-6 yrs)

The Product Owner will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation and enhancing business operations by overseeing various aspects of product management, business analysis, communication, and software development.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring that product development aligns with business objectives and delivers value to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management:

- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

- Prioritize product features and functionalities based on business value and user needs.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements.

- Manage product backlog and ensure its prioritization.

Business Analysis:

- Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.

- Develop business cases and ROI analyses for proposed product initiatives.

Communication:

- Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to stakeholders, including development teams, executives, and customers.

- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns.

Software Development:

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that product features are implemented accurately and efficiently.

- Provide guidance and support to development teams during the development process.

- Participate in code reviews and testing activities.

Agile Methodologies:

- Apply Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to manage product development lifecycle.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).

- Ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices.

Power BI:

- Leverage Power BI to create insightful data visualizations and reports.

- Use data analytics to inform product decisions and measure product performance.

Required Qualifications:

- Analytical Skills and Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

- Proven experience in conducting business analysis and developing product requirements.

- Product Management: Solid understanding of product management principles and methodologies.

- Experience in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product information and collaborate with stakeholders.

- Software Development Skills: Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

- Experience working with development teams to deliver product features.

- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments and applying Agile principles and practices.

- Knowledge of Power BI: Proficiency in using Power BI to create data visualizations and reports.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar product owner role
