Position : QA Automation Testing with IOT

Location : Pune (Hybrid)

Interview rounds 1st Technical Virtual, 2nd Technical Virtual, 3rd VP level F2F

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for IoT products (hardware, software, and firmware) to validate their functionality, performance, and reliability.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.

- Identify areas for automation in the IoT ecosystem, ensuring efficient and scalable testing processes.

- Conduct end-to-end testing of IoT devices, applications, and platforms, including functionality, performance, security, and compatibility.

- Perform detailed testing on connected devices and systems, ensuring that the integration of hardware, firmware, and software is smooth and efficient.

- Work closely with development teams to understand requirements, functionality, and design specifications for IoT devices and systems.

- Identify, track, and report defects and inconsistencies found during automated tests.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, frameworks, and best practices

Skills and Qualifications required :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in QA Automation Testing, particularly for IoT devices and systems.

- Strong knowledge of AWS services : EC2, S3, Lambda, IoT Core, CloudFormation, etc.

- Experience with test automation tools / framework : Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, rest-assured or similar.

- Experience with Test Management tools : X-Ray, Zephyr or similar.

- Proficiency in test design (test case creation, test data preparation).

- Proficiency in scripting languages : Python, JavaScript, or similar.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines : Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture , Rest Assured

- Understanding of IoT protocols : MQTT, CoAP, HTTP.

- Experience with performance testing tools : JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured working approach.
