Job Description :

We are looking for a talented and experienced VB.NET Developer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. As a VB.NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using VB.NET. You should have strong expertise in .NET technologies, along with a passion for coding, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test, and maintain VB.NET applications.

Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using the VB.NET framework.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing VB.NET applications.

Create and maintain application documentation and user guides.

Ensure the application is running efficiently, perform regular maintenance, and implement updates as needed.

Stay up to date with new .NET technologies and best practices.

Collaborate with team members to improve and refine coding standards.

Assist with code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Identify and address software performance issues and bugs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in VB.NET development.

Strong knowledge of .NET frameworks, including VB.NET, ASP.NET, and related technologies.

Experience with SQL Server and database development (writing queries, stored procedures, etc.).

Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

Experience with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD).

Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
