Role Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join our team. This role will involve the design, development, and optimization of ABAP solutions across various SAP modules, leveraging the full capabilities of SAP HANA.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP ABAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) development, as well as expertise in SAP HANA, data migrations, system integrations, and BTP extensions. You will play a critical role in enhancing core SAP functionalities, ensuring compliance with Nordic tax regulations, and optimizing performance in line with modern SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Development and Customization :

- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs to enhance core SAP functionalities across various SAP modules.

- Customize ABAP solutions to meet specific business requirements, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

ABAP on HANA Development :

- Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and other HANA-specific ABAP objects to leverage the full potential of SAP HANA.

- Implement advanced ABAP debugging techniques and performance optimization strategies to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Data Migrations and Integrations :

- Design and implement technical solutions for data migrations from legacy systems to SAP and between third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flows.

- Build OData services and leverage SAP Gateway for SAP Fiori applications.

Technical Enhancements and Extensions :

- Develop RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) to meet specific business needs and custom solutions.

- Collaborate on SAP BTP extensions using Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and ensure alignment with modern SAP extension frameworks.

Compliance and Localization :

- Ensure that development aligns with SKAT requirements and Nordic tax authority regulations.

- Incorporate localization features for Nordic systems, adhering to compliance and governance standards for the region.

Essential Skills and Experience :

- Deep Expertise in ABAP RICEFW Development : Extensive experience with Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEFW).

- SAP HANA Expertise : Proficiency in ABAP on HANA technologies including CDS Views and AMDP procedures, along with optimization techniques.

- OData Services & SAP Gateway : Strong experience in developing OData services and integrating SAP Gateway for Fiori applications.

- Data Migration and Integration : Experience in developing solutions for data migration and integration with third-party systems.

- ABAP Debugging & Performance Optimization : Advanced skills in debugging and optimizing complex ABAP programs for improved performance.

Desirable Skills :

- SAP BTP Extensions : Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) extensions, including Cloud Application Programming (CAP).

- Integration Platforms : Familiarity with integration platforms such as SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI for seamless data exchange across systems.

- Modern SAP Development Practices : Expertise in the RESTful ABAP Programming Model and knowledge of modern SAP development practices.

- Compliance Knowledge : Experience in working with Nordic tax authority regulations (e.g., SKAT) and SAP compliance standards.

Market Standard Expectations :

- Certifications : Certification in SAP ABAP and/or ABAP on HANA is highly desirable.

- SAP Workflow Solutions : Proficiency in implementing and managing SAP Workflow solutions.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA : Understanding and experience in leveraging Fiori applications and SAP S/4HANA.
