The ManagerEducation is expected to have experience in overall team management and the school education sector. The incumbent shall be responsible for business development and implementation of Education projects by IPE Global from time to time, and for providing technical inputs to various other projects within the practice. S/he shall also be responsible for leadership and guidance to the team on proposals and project deliverables. Key Performance Area: Business development including writing of technical proposals, identifying relevant opportunities in early education, school education, teacher training, institutional capacity building, and change management etc Support in implementation of education sector projects and supervision of project teams as required. Contribute to research on various educational practices, both local and global, focusing on enhancing education programs and documenting best practices. Ability to apply education-sector learning such as Universal Design for Learning, effective use of technology in quality education space and whole school approaches etc in projects and planning as required. Detailed major Functions & Responsibilities: Technical Expertise: Lead pro-active business development for education sector development consulting (national and international). Maintain up to date industry knowledge to ensure that projects reflect best practices and effective solutions. Provide technical leadership and coordination for the scaling up of quality. Lead proposal development. Innovative Approaches. Bring forward new ideas, unique methodologies, value-added changes to existing practices including but not limited to areas of: a) proposal preparation b) internal processes and management strategies c) client engagement and retention plans d) scaling up of opportunities. Track and identify new business opportunities and partnerships in target geographical areas as well as across identified education components (e g ECCE, higher education, school education, EdTech solutions, accelerated school readiness, teaching learning online platforms, etc). Client Engagement. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients and be accountable for achievement of set targets. Contributing to work planning, monitoring, evaluation and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Work with other team members and in coordination with national, state and local government, non-governmental and multilateral/bilateral institutions to achieve project deliverables. Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, education sector firms, and government bodies for forming strong. Negotiate and finalize partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances to enhance the company's presence in the education sector. Branding and Positioning. Publish in technical / trade journals, write papers on chosen technical expertise, or speak at industry events representing IPE. Promote IPE through speaking engagements at industry conferences and involvement in local business organizations. Others. Ensure that all work submitted as part of the proposal, research and development is technically sound. Support the Knowledge Management initiative by providing technical inputs, write ups, cases, etc Essential skillset: Strong understanding of relevant education policies and programs such as NCF, NEP, NIPUN Bharat, platforms such as DIKSHA, NISHTHA etc Knowledge of Teacher Professional Development, Early Childhood Education or other thematic areas in education sector. Strong understanding of best practices and approaches such as level-based assessments, competency frameworks, cascade model trainings, digital engaging e-learning material, etc Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Experience of designing/implementing Donor funded and Central/State Government Technical Assistance/capacity building programmes is an advantage. Capable of taking initiatives on their own with minimum level of supervision. Excellent communication skills: able to clearly communicate complex information verbally and in writing. Open to working in multi-cultural environments and effectively in small and large teams. Educational Qualification: 6-10 years of experience in the education sector with a focus on business development activities along with implementation of projects.
