Role Summary:

The role requires a thorough understanding of the Informatica platforms namely PowerCenter, IDQ, DEI , Power exchange, MDM. You will have work experience from an Administrator role on these platforms. You will work to ensure high-availability and user support for these applications. You will work closely with the IT team, non-IT departments, and project stakeholders to ensure the setup is optimized for performance, reliability, security, and user satisfaction.

Job Summary:

• Excellent knowledge of PowerCenter, IDQ, DEI, Power exchange, MDM
• Focus on effective service delivery and continuous improvement
• Prior work experience in Administrator roles
• In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting, measures to ensure high availability and stability.
• Good written and verbal communication along with logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good experience on ticket monitoring tools and queue management.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and procedure interpretation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Shell scripting, Python, or similar.

Experience Required:

4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in administering & troubleshooting

3. DEI/BDM
4. Power exchange
5. MDM

Note: DEI/BDM admin experience is mandatory.

Good to have skills:

Error Analysis & Logging:

• Reading and interpreting Informatica logs
• Understanding the different log files and their significance.
• Identifying error messages and correlating them to specific components or tasks.
• Analyzing performance metrics
• Monitoring resource utilization, session performance, and workflow execution times.
• Identifying bottlenecks and optimizing performance based on analysis.

Root cause analysis:

• Identifying the underlying reason behind the issue, not just the symptom.
• Analyzing dependencies and impact on other components.

Solution development:

• Proposing and implementing solutions based on the identified root cause.
• Choosing the most efficient and effective solution.
