Power Bi Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PowerBuilder-based applications.
• Create, test, and deploy reports and dashboards using PowerBuilder and integrate DAX formulas for reporting and data analysis.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Develop and enhance data models, ensuring efficient performance in PowerBuilder and backend systems.
• Integrate PowerBuilder applications with backend databases (SQL Server, Oracle) to ensure seamless data flow.
• Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to build complex business logic and calculations for Power BI, Excel, or other reporting tools.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing PowerBuilder applications and queries for better performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
• Maintain and update applications and reports according to changing business needs.
• Document code, processes, and technical specifications for applications and database interactions.
• Assist in the migration of legacy PowerBuilder applications to newer technologies or cloud-based platforms.
• Provide end-user support, training, and troubleshoot issues related to PowerBuilder and database integration.
