DXP Development Developer (Senior)

Job Description: AEM Sites Developer with 3 to 6 (Relevant) Years of Experience

Responsibilities -

A) Knowledge of Core Java (Maven Framework, Models, Class Creation) AEM - Workflows, Sling Models, Templates Creation, Content/Experience Fragments), Component development, Dialog creation, Unit Testing, Automated Unit test cases development

B) Knowledge of AEMaaCS (AEM as a cloud service), Exposure to local to cloud migration

B) Jenkins/Azure DevOps (Good to Have), Git, Jira, Confluence

Preferred Skills -

1. Min 03+ years of hands-on experience with AEM Sites as a developer

2. Capability to understand the design and implement the changes asked

3. Exposure to local to cloud migration

4. Minimum 03 full life-cycle implementation experience on AEM 6.5, preferably 6.5+ as Developer

5. Exposure to creating custom AEM components (JSP, Sightly) and OSGI bundle

6. Exposure to AEM Component dialog design in both touch and classic mode. Component inheritance/hierarchy understanding and expertise

7. Knowledge of AEM workflows, user management, content packaging, roles and I18N knowledge (Good to have)

8. Core Java expertise, J2EE (Servlet Creation), CRX Apache Sling knowledge & Rest API Services

Desirable skills -

A) Agile Development Methodology experience

B) Understanding on AEM modules of MSM (Multi-Site Management)

Soft Skills -

A) Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

B) Strong skills to effectively interface with client and other stake holders

C) Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
