Technical Writer,Cardiology is one of the growth pillars of Philip and we are currently looking for a Technical Writer for our Cardiology Informatics (CI) business to create user documentation, according to the defined processes and quality standards and to represent the user documentation discipline in the project. The exact scope of user documentation varies per project, and can include terminology, CTBs, etc.

Your responsibilities Performs assignments that require consultation of specialists to get a clear view on WHAT has to be delivered and that require analysis of the available technical data in order to decide HOW to best carry out the assignment. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial conflicting technical data. Finds solutions on the basis of theoretical insights and experience for deviating situations. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

Drafts limited improvement projects within a unit and introduce new supporting process activities. Provides transparency and radiates status to all relevant stakeholders and supports related activities To ensure that the required end-user documentation is written and delivered according to the project deadlines, thereby ensuring the planned product release. Proactively and continuously collect all necessary information for documentation activities: input documents, organizing discussion/meetings with one or all of the following; application specialists, product management, product developers and other relevant subject matter experts (SME). Transform the collected input effectively and efficiently into user (and/or) service documentation. Proactively organize review of the written document(s) with disciplines involved, handle comments and obtain approval. To perform editorial tasks, e.g. during peer reviews

To prepare the documents for translation/localization after documentation. To create the master deliverables for final product delivery after receiving the final translated files To create, maintain and communicate the overall (sub-) project plan. Has a specialized level of skill to perform analysis as part of assigned tasks. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Specialized theoretical knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization to contribute to optimization of QR processes The assignments are stated only in general terms and require own interpretation and analysis. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial conflicting data. Takes a perspective to problems and spots less obvious solutions. Duration of assignment is typically a few months. Finds solutions on the basis of theoretical insight and experience for deviating situations. Identifies the problem and some relevant issues in deviating situations, analyses each, using standard procedures. Own interpretation regarding assignments, based on own calculations and coordinates implementation of changes. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. 

We are looking for o First-class communication and documentation skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of management o Fluent in English; speaking, reading, and writing. o Proactive, independent, target oriented and self-motivated o Structured authoring (XML/ CMS) skills o Good knowledge of Software/quality development process and control methods; o High level of emotional intelligence. o Experience in Software Development is recommended (e.g. diverse projects, development, testing, delivery, SW project management, SAFe RTE) o Related experience in a medical device or other regulated industry is a plus o Project management is a plus,Request from R&D Lead of ROCC project to support ROCC expansion to other markets.
