For many years; Info Edge has been helping people to navigate through important decisions like education, career, marriage, real-estate, etc. We plan to continue doing so even more effectively. Well, you don't just know research methodologies but also understand ways to translate research insights into product experiences by

• working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and design research studies
• drive research efforts and interpret them for business and innovation opportunities (especial shout-out to fresh insights here)
• engage in all areas of the user journey to clearly understand & influence the business goals, product architecture and design
• time & again iterate about being customer-focused
• you don't need introduction with research methodologies and can identify the right mix of methods based on the need and time in hand
• sees deadlines as a way to be more efficient in output
• knows how to tell a story and influence panel decisions
• apply variety of methods & approaches to find needs or problems of the users
• be able to share your research findings in an actionable & engaging way to persuade stakeholders
• have a solid understanding of design thinking process & know-how to influence platform go-to strategy
• leveraging design thinking tools like personas, user journey maps, etc.
• be able to sensitize stakeholders not just about outcome but the process and approach
• being able to pick user mindset by applying proven principles from fields like cognitive science, sociology, psychology, etc.
• be the first one to know the user needs and changes in their behavior

What does the growth of a UX researcher look like?

It's a multi-faceted career opportunity: from cracking the UX research code for many product lines that are unique in its own way & tapping your self-journey from doing hands-on to building a team of UX researchers. But since we believe in a more focused on-boarding; you will be required to focus on a particular product line as you start and then apply the research strategies across other product lines.
