1.Role & responsibilities
1. Patient Reception and Scheduling: Greet patients, manage appointment scheduling, and
ensure timely patient check-in/check-out.
2.Telephone Management: Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, respond to inquiries,
and manage appointment bookings or cancellations.
3. Record Maintenance: Maintain and update patient records, handle patient forms, and manage
both physical and digital files.
4. Billing and Payments: Handle billing processes, including accepting payments, managing
invoices, and coordinating with insurance companies for claims.
5. Waiting Area Management: Ensure the waiting area is clean, well-organized, and stocked with
relevant patient forms or informational brochures.
6. Coordination with Dental Staff: Facilitate communication between the dental staff and
patients, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
7. Patient Assistance: Provide patients with pre-appointment and post-treatment information,
answer basic queries, and assist them in filling out necessary paperwork.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing office supplies, dental materials, and ensuring
stock levels are maintained
Preferred candidate profile
1. Prior experience as a receptionist or in a healthcare environment is preferred but not
mandatory.
2. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), and familiarity with dental/healthcare management
software is advantageous.
3.Customer Service: Friendly demean or with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time efficiently.
