Inferenz - Senior Cloud Ops/DevOps Engineer - Site Reliability (5-7 yrs)

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Cloud Ops/DevOps Engineer to manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system reliability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), automation, containerization, and monitoring to ensure the smooth deployment and performance of applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated and efficient software releases.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for efficiency.

- Ensure security compliance and implement best practices for cloud security, access control, and data protection.

- Automate operational processes and workflows using scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

- Collaborate with development, security, and IT teams to enhance system reliability and performance.

- Set up and maintain observability tools for logging, alerting, and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar technologies.

- Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud environments based on business needs.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in CloudOps and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.

- Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or CircleCI.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.

- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.

- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance best practices.

- Experience in cost optimization and performance tuning for cloud-based applications.

- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.

- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.

- Knowledge of chaos engineering and resilience testing.

- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools like Flux or ArgoCD.
