Trainee Testers & Functional Analysts

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our software testing team as Trainee Testers & Functional Analysts. As a trainee, you will receive comprehensive training from our experienced test engineers & functional analysts and will be actively involved in testing various aspects of web applications, products, and systems. Your responsibilities will include functional/component testing, system testing, performance testing, regression testing, and service-level testing. In addition to hands-on testing, you will collaborate closely with our software development team, gaining valuable insights into the development lifecycle and contributing to the overall quality of our web applications, products, and systems.

Key responsibilities:

Work with experienced analysts to gather, analyse, and document client requirements. Assist in creating wireframes, process flows, and detailed user stories to support functional design. Design comprehensive test plans, develop test cases, execute manual and automated tests, and

document software defects. Perform a variety of testing types, including functional, system, performance, regression, and security

testing for web applications and systems. Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Maven. Work closely with software developers, project managers, and clients throughout the Software

Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure product quality and alignment with client needs. Communicate proactively, clearly, and effectively with team members and, as you grow, potentially

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

0 to 1 year of experience in software testing (including internships or academic projects) A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Successful completion of an additional training course or certification in software testing Strong understanding of the software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle

(STLC) Solid foundation in black-box testing, test case design techniques, and a thorough understanding of the

bug life cycle Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing methodologies Familiarity with test documentation processes, including Functional Specification Documents (FSDs),

test plans, defect reports, and test execution reports Experience working with Agile methodologies Proficiency in Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Maven for test automation

Strongly Desired: Familiarity or knowledge with CI/CD practices and pipelines Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail Passion for quality assurance and a meticulous approach to testing Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with team
