Job Title: Manager - Process Automation Specialist


Location: Mumbai (work from office). Candidates looking for remote working or not comfortable with the job location need not apply.


Summary: Process Automation Specialist will be process automation analyst and implementation coordinator.

1. Responsible to Run Command Center operations, monitoring tools and develop Service Management Processes for the smooth functioning of all the IT services.

2. Analyse current processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Develop process maps, workflows and documentation to understand end-to-end operations.

3. Collect and analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.


Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement:

  • Process improvement methodologies to optimize operations.
  • Drive the adoption of industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement and monitor process changes.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and advancements in APM technologies and practices.
  • Recommend and implement strategies for continuous improvement in monitoring processes.

Automation Implementation:

  • Identify tasks and processes suitable for automation using tools like Microsoft Power Automate, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI, or workflow systems. Candidate need not need to have hands-on knowledge on these tools, however collaborating with the vendor teams to deploy the tools is required.
  • Collaborate with IT teams or vendors to develop and deploy automation solutions.
  • Test and validate automation tools to ensure they meet operational requirements.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track progress and share insights with leadership.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to refine processes and maximize benefits.
  • Monitor application performance, user interactions, and transaction flows to ensure optimal performance and resolve performance bottlenecks across the application stack (front-end, back-end, databases, APIs).
  • Conduct periodic performance tests and recommend improvements.

APM Tools Management:

  • Implement, configure, and maintain APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Datadog, or similar platforms.
  • Define monitoring strategies and best practices for application performance.
  • Set up alerts, dashboards, and reports to provide real-time performance insights.

Troubleshooting & Incident Response:

  • Work closely with development, DevOps, and IT operations teams to investigate performance issues and incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide detailed recommendations for resolution.
  • Support incident management processes to minimize downtime and impact on end users.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with developers to optimize code and resolve application-related issues.
  • Communicate performance insights and trends to stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to address performance concerns


Education: B.E, MCA, Computer Science, BSC. IT


Experience: Candidate should have 08+ years of experience and preferably should have worked in Banking and Technology organization


Certification: APM, ITIL v4 preferred.


Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in process improvement and business process automation.
  • Proficiency in using tools like Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar platforms for workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g., Power Apps, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Knowledge of ITILv4 or similar process improvement methodologies (certification preferred).
  • Data analysis skills with experience in tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. ‎
