Manager - Product Management

Job Summary

As a Product Manager for Indegene s Next Content Management product you will develop and manage product development programs that will help Indegene s customers and partners identify and optimize their experience. A strong understanding of customer personas, and delivering digital experiences is key to success. This is a strategic and execution role that requires the ability to set the vision, define innovative and industry leading solutions as well as follow through with the various development and engineering teams to see that the vision is delivered. You will be responsible for the product ownership of new roadmap within the Next Content Management product portfolio. This will include setting the roadmap, priorities, and business needs with an agile delivery squad. This role partners closely with key stakeholders and leads an agile squad team through execution.

Responsibilities

• Market / Customer facing. Identifies market needs and drafts BRD (Business Requirement Document).
• Owns overall Vision and Roadmap, pricing, licensing, and ROI.
• Drives feature prioritization as per business need.
• Establishes overall product KPIs derived from business metrics.
• Collaborate effectively with the Product Owner and ensure features are built to the specification.
• Establish a shared vision of products by working with key stakeholders
• Work cross-functionality with design, engineering, business, sales, and marketing
• Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products
• Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines
• Responsible for defining requirements and recommending solutions
• Owns release backlog and responsible for implementation.

Job Requirements

• Able to work closely with engineering teams on daily basis and able to provide prototypes, pilots and code samples appropriate for product design architecture
• Strong technical background and able to flourish in the complex world of security, performance, data lake and analytics in products and services.
• Pragmatic understanding of what modern Agile principles accomplish, how and why they work, and a deep grasp of how rapidly growing technologies and organizations evolve over time.
• Demonstrated success in decomposing complex product functional and non-functional requirements into defined, actionable user stories - and in creating logically designed iterations and product releases that deliver continuous value to the market over time.
• Proven track record of delivering complex technology solutions with an outcome-based, customer-first mindset.
• Established background in launching enterprise software and services with high degree of proficiency in iterative development workflows.
• Demonstrated success working in a remote environment with distributed teams.

• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira , Confluence and Aha/Any product management application.
• Development knowledge of Python, Django and PostgreSQL would be a plus (including strong AWS cloud experience)

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor/master s degree in computer science or similar. This is a technical position.
• 8+ years of industry experience with 3+ years of experience in product owner/manager role.
• Understanding of Healthcare and Life science technologies especially in PV (Pharmacovigilance) domain would be desirable.

Preferred Abilities

• Previous experience in PV/Safety/Life Science industry.
• Experience with enterprise software development.
