Quality Assurance Engineer

• Laise with internal teams(developers, lead and project manager's) to identify the system requirements and to ensure consistent project execution
• Reserach and analyse the features of the application needs to be tested
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well structured test plans and test cases
• Conduct complete tests before the release of the applications to ensure software runs smoothly and meets clients needs
• Design, Develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Identify any potential problems in the application that user may encounter
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Required Skills:

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong Knowledge on software QA methodologies
• Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands on experience with automated testing tools (preferably selenium)
• Experience in performance and security testing is plus
• Good knowledge on Software Development cycle
