Deputy Manager/Manager (Medical Stores) - Pharmacy

General Manager Hospital OperationsII. JOB PURPOSE
To assist in timely procurement and delivery of inventory in Pharmacy medical Store.III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES






Core Responsibilities

• To effectively interface with Central Store and Purchase team, HODs, Nursing Heads, Commercial team users.
• To demonstrate effective application of technical and professional knowledge.
• To follow appropriate inventory policies & manage accounts.
• To ensure effective management of Perishable items.
• To dispose the expired stuff on time & ensure ordering and reordering of material.
• To monitor proper receipt & issue of materials and maintain daily distribution of inventory / indents.
• To facilitate inspections and quality checks of goods received & crosscheck optimum storage conditions in stores.
• To provide technical guidance, assistance and instruction to employees; train new personnel.
• To follow inventory standards and waste control.

Measurable Deliverables

• No stock outs
• Zero errors in maintenance of accounts
• Liquidation Expiry & Non-Moving
• Maintains min. inventory and max. efficiency
• Maintains Store as per NABH & IMS standards
• Submission of Bill Accounts within 4 working days

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate / Diploma in Pharmacy / PG Diploma in Materials Mgmt.
Experience
8+years of relevant experience in store department of a Hospital.
