Job Title: Intellectual Property Manager

Technical Responsibilities:

Assist in Implement IP strategies to protect the organizations innovations and technologies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Conduct thorough Trademark and Patent searches and evaluate results.

Preparation, filing, and prosecution of IP applications and other IP-related filings, including trademarks and copyrights.

Collaborate with other department and business teams to assess IP risks and opportunities associated with new products and technologies.

Monitor and manage the IP portfolio, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with international IP laws.

Communication Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all IP-related inquiries, providing expert guidance to internal stakeholders on IP matters.

Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on IP best practices, policies, and compliance requirements.

Liaise with external legal counsel and IP firms to manage IP litigation, licensing negotiations, and other legal matters related to IP.

Reporting Responsibilities:

Routine reporting on the status of the IP portfolio, including new filings, and ongoing litigation.

Analyze and report on trends in IP activity, competitor IP strategies, and regulatory changes that may impact the organizations IP landscape.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IP assets, filings, and correspondence to ensure proper documentation for audits and legal compliance.

Education- LLB Qualified
