Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
o Lead and manage the internal audit team.
2. Audit Planning and Execution:
o Define audit policies and procedures.
o Oversee the execution of internal audits, including financial, operational, and compliance audits.
3. Risk Management and Control:
o Assess the adequacy of internal controls and risk management processes.
o Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and mitigating risks.
4. Reporting and Communication:
o Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the audit committee.
o Maintain open communication with the leadership team and audit committee.
