Quality Assurance Specialist

Role & responsibilities

1. Engage in interactions with banks to understand requirements and address issues.

2. Review and acquire knowledge from requirement documents, training materials, and user acceptance plans.

3. Prepare detailed test plans, acceptance criteria, SQL queries, test scenarios, and test scripts.

4. Install and configure software for testing purposes.

5. Conduct software testing to identify and document issues.

6. Perform software functionality testing and gap analysis.

7. Collaborate with programmers to resolve reported issues promptly.

8. Analyze and document test results, generating reports for colleagues and management.

9. Maintain data backups for various projects.

10. Demonstrate proficiency in database management and SQL/PLSQL (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL).

11. Exhibit knowledge of application server architecture and deployment (JBoss, Web-Sphere, WebLogic).

12. Display familiarity with Linux command-line interface (RedHat, CentOS, Debian, AIX).

13. Perform both manual and automated testing using relevant tools.
