Job Description
- Extensive experience with PHP and the Laravel framework, including routing, middleware, controllers, Eloquent ORM, queues, and artisan commands.
- Strong understanding of MySQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, stored procedures, and database migrations.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs with proper authentication and data validation. Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
- Proficient with Git, and familiar with GitLab pipelines.
- Experience implementing OAuth2, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), Laravel Passport, or Sanctum for user authentication and authorization.
- Experience with testing tools such as PHPUnit for unit and integration testing.
- Strong understanding of backend security issues such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, and how to mitigate them.
- Familiarity with command-line tools, including running artisan commands and setting up cron jobs for task scheduling.
- Experience with caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached, or Laravels built-in caching tools for optimizing performance.
- Familiarity with AWS services like S3, ECS, RDS, CloudWatch.
