Communicate and interact effectively with lead engineers and architects on the customer end (ANZ region).
Hands-on ability to understand, design, set up, and roll out the Microsoft SCCM Platform.
Administer and configure the SCCM Platform as per design.
Carry out updates to the SCCM platform as required, utilizing patches and new builds to maintain security and usability.
Support multiple geographies across time zones (primarily ANZ region) until deployments stabilize.
Coordinate with business teams for required downtime of key business systems to schedule patching and upgrades utilizing the SCCM platform.
Monitor and take preventative actions (e.g., maintain configuration baselines and prevent configuration drift).
Integrate, deploy, maintain, and support SCCM infrastructure.
Collaborate with existing team members.
Deploy SCCM solutions to meet the requirements of Core Business and other teams needs.
Work with operational teams to share best practices, troubleshoot, and collect feedback on processes, procedures, tools, and requirements for future developments.
Integrate, maintain, and support (as 3rd level) current SCCM architecture according to Change Management procedures.
Manage the SCCM life cycle.
Participate in the deployment of SCCM solutions through knowledge transfer and conference calls.
Handle incidents and service requests as per agreed service levels.
Troubleshoot Windows servers, file servers, print servers, and domain controllers on Windows 2008 R2 and 2008 OS problems.
Strong Windows Server level admin knowledge including server-level hardware and Windows Clustering.
Key Technical Requirements:
Depth understanding of Inventory Management, Patch Management, Software Deployment, Software Metering, etc.
Ability to analyze error logs and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Ability to provide fixes (not workarounds) for each error.
Ability to differentiate if a client error can be fixed by a technical fix or a process change.
Participation in L3 discussions with relevant teams.
Exposure to WS 2012, AD, SCO, and PowerShell.
Specialization:
7+ years of experience in SCCM 2012 and above in Implementation and Administration.
Experience in SCCM Migration projects (at least 2-3 projects).
Sound technical knowledge of SCCM 2007/2012 Administration.
Sound technical knowledge of Win2008/2012 Server Administration.
Good troubleshooting skills.
Result-oriented and takes ownership of issues until resolution.
Willingness to work extended hours when required.
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
Process-oriented and adaptable to process changes in operations.
Clarity on the priority of issues/problems.
Sensitivity to SLAs/metrics.
