Requirements
Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Chennai / Trichy / Pune
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to
lead our development team. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong
technical background in both front-end and back-end development, particularly
with Angular, React, .NET Core, Azure services, and both SQL and NoSQL
databases. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing code and
architecture, optimizing development processes, and ensuring the delivery of
high-quality software products.
Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and
direction to a team of software engineers, ensuring best practices in
software development and engineering.
- Oversee the full
software development lifecycle, from planning and design to
implementation and deployment.
- Review and approve
architectural designs and code to ensure they meet high standards of
quality, security, and scalability.
- Actively participate in
code reviews, giving constructive feedback and mentoring team members in
best coding practices.
- Guide and support
development in front-end frameworks like Angular and React, ensuring
adherence to best practices and design principles.
- Provide technical
expertise in backend development using .NET Core, working closely with
the team to optimize performance and reliability.
- Ensure integration
between front-end and back-end components is seamless and meets
performance expectations.
- Lead the implementation
and management of solutions using Azure cloud services (App
Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Oversee database
architecture and design, working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
to optimize storage, retrieval, and data security.
- Drive automation and
continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to
streamline deployments and maintain high availability.
- Continuously evaluate
and improve development processes, ensuring alignment with industry
standards and emerging technologies.
- Track team performance,
set achievable goals, and foster a collaborative environment that
encourages growth and innovation.
- Manage, mentor, and
develop a team of engineers, conducting regular performance reviews and
providing feedback to foster individual growth and skill development.
- Promote a culture of
learning, encouraging the team to stay updated on emerging technologies,
tools, and best practices.
- Resolve team conflicts,
coordinate work assignments, and foster a positive, productive work
environment.
Requirements:
- Bacheloror Masterdegree in
Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in software
development, with at least 3+ years in a management or leadership role .
- Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks like Angular and React .
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core for
back-end development, along with knowledge of C#.
- Deep understanding of Azure services , including
App Services, Functions, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with SQL (e.g., SQL Server,
MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., CosmosDB, MongoDB).
- Proven ability to review software architecture and code quality , ensuring adherence to high standards.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines,
and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on
collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to
convey complex technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices
architecture and containerization tools (e.g., Docker,
Kubernetes).
- Previous experience in a
cloud-native development environment and knowledge of multi-tenant
architectures.
- Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum methodologies.
