Job Description

Conduct product-level testing using Ion Chromatography (IC) or High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Provide testing result, help R &D to resolve issues with product hardware / software, based on test results

3+ years any Industry experience related to Lab testing.
Fluent in MS Office -word, excel, PPT for report outs Conduct product-level testing using Ion Chromatography (IC) or High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
Liaise with various instrument vendors for the installation and calibration of new instruments, as well as the preparation of IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation.
Perform preventive maintenance on analytical instruments within the laboratory.
Detect, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in product performance.
Capture lab-related capital and operational expenditure plans, including ordering materials and managing supplies.
Participate in product design review meetings.
Develop and enhance standards and procedures for testing.
Troubleshoot both software (Chromeleon) and hardware issues based on testing results for analytical instruments such as IC, GC, HPLC, and LC-MS.
Must have experience with Ion Chromatography or Mass Spectrometry Instrument
Some working knowledge on PCBA, Software and hardware used in lab products/analytical products.
Handson experience on Chromeleon or equivalent lab productivity software is big plus
Must possess strong interpersonal, presentation, communication (verbal & written) & influencing skills.
Ability to plan, execute and measure with a strong sense of urgency to drive results.
Comfortable with working in a matrixed organization, with multiple groups and stakeholders.
Take ownership of a problem and strive to implement the solution as an individual and as a teammate.

Essential Skill set:

Hands on experience of managing complete existing product development activities (Namely Cost out, Quality and Product obsolescence) for product-based organizations.
Good experience on existing product development process and working with remote team.
Strong in mechanical engineering fundamentals
Excellent communication skills.
Minimum of 5~8 years of relevant engineering experience
Experience in Vendor Qualification, developing Manufacturing Quality plan, Tooling and component qualification & Thorough understanding of PPAP process.

Desirable Skill set:

Excellent organizational skills required to manage small and large projects.
Ability to apply engineering principles and practices in the design, development, and verification of possible solutions
Ability to develop design concepts and turn into finished/product launch.
Mechanical design knowledge ranging from component design to system level.

Knowledge on either one of the below processes

- Value engineering methodologies and how to apply them.

- Quality Project execution and standards such as Risk assessment, Root cause analysis procedures, DFMEA, PFMEA, ISO, etc.

- Obsolescence management

Knowledge of DFM & DFA with respect to ease of manufacture and assembly.
Oversee testing and analysis of products to determine product performance.
Knowledge of various fabrication methods for the manufacturing of metal and plastic parts machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and injection molding is required.
Skilled in 3D modeling software (Solid Works) is preferred
