Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with a strong technical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating technical documentation, performing data analysis using SQL and DBT, and conducting root cause analyses to support engineering teams.

This role is critical in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and business leaders to understand data needs, deliver solutions, and set clear expectations with Data Product Owners.

- Document and capture use cases, business logic, and rules for assigned data domains (i.e., fan, marketing), ensuring alignment across the entire data platform.

- Define technical specifications for integrating various data sources, including methods for data validation, standardization, curation, and reporting.

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to understand integration methods and fulfill data delivery and reporting requirements.

- Manage ad-hoc requests alongside ongoing sprints, balancing priorities effectively.

- Work closely with engineering teams, data architects, governance, and QA to ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, cataloging, and quality assurance processes.

- Support Data Product Owners in managing and delivering the product technical roadmap for the data platform.

- Apply Agile methodologies to coordinate global delivery teams, run scrum ceremonies, and handle backlog management and escalations.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Proficiency in AWS, Redshift, and Power BI.

- Hands-on experience with data ingestion and curation processes, particularly in a Data Lakehouse environment.

- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and investigation.

- Familiarity with managing technical roadmaps in collaboration with Data Product Owners.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.

- 7+ years of experience as a Data/Business Analyst or Business Intelligence Developer/Analytics Engineer.

- Power BI certification or advanced proficiency.

- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.

- Familiarity with version control systems and relational databases.
