Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented News Research Analyst to join our dynamic team at IGenX Quant LLP. This role will involve conducting in-depth research on global market news, analyzing financial data, and providing insights on target companies, sectors, and broader economic developments. If you have a keen interest in global markets, strong analytical skills, and are proficient in using social media for market insights, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on target companies, analyzing annual reports, quarterly financials, earnings calls, and other investor resources. Perform detailed sector analysis, including financial ratios, growth potential, regulatory impacts, and valuation metrics. Prepare clear and concise research notes, providing investment recommendations based on findings.
• Market Monitoring: Track and analyze daily market news, corporate announcements, quarterly earnings reports, and shifts in economic policies. Monitor social media platforms like Twitter, Telegram, and YouTube for real-time market insights, connect with traders, and follow industry analysts. Use reliable platforms (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg, Seeking Alpha, Benzinga) to gather supplementary market data.
• Data Analysis: Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel to conduct data analysis, perform research, and identify trading patterns from historical data. Stay updated on economic fundamentals and key events affecting stock markets to provide timely updates to the team.
• Reporting and Communication: Provide actionable insights to the team by presenting your findings and analysis. Ensure that critical market information is communicated effectively and in real-time.

Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelors degree in Commerce (BCOM) with a specialization in Finance.
• Skills and Experience:
• Open to freshers or candidates with experience in global market news research.
• Proficiency in using social media platforms for news aggregation.
• Strong passion for gathering and analyzing real-time news from global sources, including listed and unlisted companies.
• Solid understanding of fundamental research, financial statements, ratios, and valuation methods.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis and research.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Age: Must be under 35 years.
