Preferred qualifications/skills:
- Prior experience of 5+ years in Power plant O&M, plus Techno-commercial (viz. coal sourcing, biomass sourcing, etc. ) is mandatory.
- B.E/B.Tech. (Electrical/Mechanical/C&I/Electronics/Industrial/Power) is mandatory.
- PGDC (Thermal Power) from NPTI or Supply Chain Management (or related) Certification will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Power plant systems, equipment, and processes, including boilers, turbine, fuel handling systems, emissions control systems etc.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel with experience in working with large volumes of data.
- Additionally, ability to learn and adapt to fast changing business needs of the organization.

- It will include O&M, logistics and supply chain management services across WTE/Biomass plants.

You will be responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to:
- Ensure the organization's growth targets are achieved by optimizing the performance and efficiency of our Biomass based Power plants.
- Ensure that the Biomass Fuel being procured by the company is being utilized with a target of "Zero Wastage", while focusing on fuel cost optimization and warehousing cost reduction.
- Your strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving would be focused on improving the effectiveness of the day-to-day operations with fuel optimization for consistent PLF and profitability.
- In short, this position has been created to empower the incumbent in giving insights to the Senior Leadership, so that the organization can achieve its targets.

Data Analysis, Reporting & Decision making:
- Collect, consolidate, analyze, and interpret data related to fuel & plant operations.
- Liaise with the technical and commercial teams to achieve integrated goals and objectives
- Liaise with O&M team to understand day to day challenges in fuel consumption while ensuring 100% PLF.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends for Management Decision making.
- Assist both Head-O&M and Head-Fuel & Commercial for informed decision making.
New Projects/Business Lines:
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses and financial evaluations for new projects and investments.
- Supervising techno-commercial project implementations.
- Identifying new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the organization's market presence
Fuel Cost Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for fuel cost optimization with better fuel sourcing avenues while ensuring fuel security.
- Preparing and presenting techno-commercial proposals to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes that reduce specific fuel consumption.
- Identify, lead and implement new in-house strategies and projects for betterment of the system.
Contract Management/Tendering:
- Take lead for end-to-end contract management activities for the assigned contracts.
- Initiate and complete the tendering processes for warehousing and material movement.
- Contractor compliances management as per company, legal and statutory requirements.
