Junior Web Designer

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Design Creation: Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• User Interface (UI): Create intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly UI layouts, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure that the website design is compatible with various browsers and devices.
• Maintain Consistency: Ensure consistent branding and visual design throughout the website.
• Content Integration: Assist in integrating multimedia content (images, videos, etc.) into the website.
• SEO Optimization: Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them within design.
• Feedback Incorporation: Accept and act on feedback from senior designers and clients to refine designs and improve user experience.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 6 months of experience in web design, either through formal employment or internships.
• Skills:
• Proficient in design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with responsive design and frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your web design work is required.
• Soft Skills: Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
