Principle Engineer - Distributed Systems (10-18 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

• Design software systems with various Microsoft technologies and ensure compliance to all architecture requirements.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to determine software requirements.
• Creating high-level product specifications and design documents.
• Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow.
• Guiding and assisting the development team throughout the process.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design.
• Ensuring that you and the team adhere to development schedules and deadlines.
• Presenting regular progress reports and setting goals.
• Testing the final product to ensure it is completely functional and meets requirements.
• Updating software solutions as required.

Requirements :

• Master's degree in computer science with 9-15 years of experience in the IT Industry.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
• Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details.
• Proficiency with Java, Java Beans, Java Servlets, and JavaScript.
• Be proficient in. NET, MVC, ASP. NET 4 XX, OOPS, Webservices, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, Backbones etc. ).
• Ability to Independently architect design and develop complete business solutions
• Strong in Solid Principles, Design Patterns, and Design Practices.
• Be very strong in Database design and PL/SQL coding experience on Oracle, MSSQL Server.
• Familiarity with Azure services and application development on Azure
• Be familiar with FxCop, JsLint, CSS Lint and StyleCop.
• Be well versed with Data Structures & algorithms, Multithreading, and optimisation techniques.
• Understand software development lifecycle and exposure to AGILE and SCRUM methodologies

Skills :

• Any programming language (JAVA, Python, C#) will work but Distributed systems is a must.
• The candidate should have seen the scaling of the product.
• Engineering Team Size- 60
• Hiring Manager- reporting to the CTO
• Compensation Structure- The budget is 40 to 80 lpa (inclusive of 10% variable) + ESOPs
