You will work autonomously, with opportunities to shape team direction and escalate issues only when necessary.
Core Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Accountability:
- Define and communicate the technical and functional roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Report on team activities, including performance metrics and project progress.
- Drive the performance and outcomes of the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and prioritize plans to address resource and operational challenges.
- Propose and implement process improvements, innovative techniques, and operational models.
- Manage budgets with moderate impact on business operations.
Strategic Decision-Making:
- Make informed decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align team strategies with broader organizational objectives.
Technical Excellence:
- Oversee timely investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure systems are designed for scalability, performance, and stability.
- Drive technical excellence in software development processes and outcomes.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Ensure timely, transparent, and appropriate communication with team members regarding organizational updates and goals.
- Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel engaged, informed, and empowered to contribute to shared objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.
- Strong technical background in software development with a focus on scalability, testability, and performance.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance operational and strategic priorities.
