Job Description
- As part of the member of the FSGBUs flagship Analytics Platform, the candidate will be responsible for developing newer capabilities and be part of the Cloud journey that the product suite is embarking on and have a flair to explore and practice continuous integration, continuous delivery and agile methodologies.
- Contribute to product development working within team as a senior developer Design, develop, troubleshoot and implement application software.
- Participate in technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, test plans, and code reviews.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications.
- Conduct unit testing, functional testing and performance testing, review results, identify bottlenecks, and profile code
- Overall 5+ years of experience in Java/Cloud Platform
- Should have knowledge on Java, J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Spring Rest and Spring boot.
- Design Development Container Technologies - Kubernetes, Docker Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline with Gitlab, Jenkins
- Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, Type Script, HTML and writing cross-browser compatible code.
- Good knowledge on building REST APIs and handling Rest API Frameworks
- Experience with relational databases Oracle, MySQL
- Secondary - Knowledge / Skills / Domain
- Good experience in collaborating and driving cross-geo / cross-team projects
- Familiarity with Design/Implementation tradeoffs in building clustered, high- performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
- Experience in Microservices and experience of working in Agile projects
- Experience in working on products that have transitioned to Cloud from a deployment perspective would be an added advantage.
- Collaboration and project management tools: JIRA, Confluence
- Energetic, Attention to details, software quality and ability to work independently.
- Relevant experience in Service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a geographically distributed organization
