Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Assistant Manager and the team of Accounting Data Entry Executives.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the team and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of team members to build a high-performing team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Strategic Oversight:
- Design and implement strategies to optimize accounting operations and improve overall efficiency.
- Develop and maintain workflows to ensure smooth execution of accounting data entry, reconciliation, and compliance tasks.
- Monitor team workload and redistribute responsibilities as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the accurate and timely completion of accounting data entry, invoice processing, TDS and GST compliance, and reconciliations.
- Review reports and ensure all financial data aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve complex issues escalated by the Assistant Manager or team members.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, including TDS and GST compliance.
- Identify potential risks in accounting operations and implement mitigation measures.
- Work closely with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present periodic reports on team performance, operational metrics, and compliance status to senior management.
- Analyse financial data and identify trends to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between the accounting operations team and other departments, such as Finance, Taxation, and Audit.
- Communicate effectively with senior management to align departmental goals with business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience in accounting operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, TDS, and GST regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
Location: Ghatkopar.
Experience: 5+ Years.
Working days: Monday Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturdays are off).
