Hiring Radiology Coders / Leads

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review medical records, radiology reports, and other documentation to accurately code diagnoses using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for coding accuracy and completeness.
  
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnosis details and resolve discrepancies in coding.
  
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  
• Stay up-to-date with changes in coding regulations, guidelines, and technology.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience as a certified coder (CPC) or lead coder in radiology or anesthesia departments.
  
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes; ability to apply them accurately according to established guidelines.
  
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHRs) such as Epic Systems or similar platforms.
