Web Developer - Shopify/Wordpress (2-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and Shopify development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic websites, with a strong focus on custom themes, plugins, and API integrations.

Responsibilities :

Website Development :

- Build, customize, and maintain websites on WordPress and Shopify platforms.

- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

Custom Themes and Plugins :

- Design and implement custom themes for WordPress and Shopify.

- Develop and maintain custom plugins or apps to meet project requirements.

API Integration :

- Integrate third-party APIs for payment gateways, CRM systems, and other custom functionalities.

- Develop custom APIs for seamless data flow between platforms.

Optimization :

- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability.

- Ensure websites adhere to SEO best practices.

Maintenance :

- Regularly update and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites.

- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or issues promptly.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement project requirements.

Requirements :

Technical Skills :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development.

- Proficiency in programming languages like PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Strong understanding of Liquid (for Shopify) and PHP (for WordPress).

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Experience :

- Expertise in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.

- Experience with Shopify theme customization and app development.

- Knowledge of CMS workflows, including content migration and database management.
