About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director - Talent Acquisition to lead the Technology Hiring initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the technology landscape, a proven track record in scaling technical teams, and exceptional leadership capabilities to design and execute strategies that attract and retain top-tier talent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for technology hiring, aligned with the organization's growth objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and prioritize roles critical to business success.
- Stay updated on emerging technology trends and talent market dynamics to remain competitive.
2. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruitment professionals to ensure effective delivery of hiring goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the talent acquisition team.
- Establish and monitor team KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights and solutions to meet their talent needs.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, hiring managers, and technical leaders, to align hiring strategies with organizational goals.
4. Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Promote the organization's employer brand to position it as a preferred employer in the tech industry.
5. Process Optimization:
- Streamline recruitment processes and adopt innovative hiring practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leverage data and analytics to assess recruitment metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
6. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Champion diversity in hiring practices to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement strategies that promote DEI in all aspects of talent acquisition.
7. Vendor and Budget Management:
- Manage relationships with external recruitment partners and vendors.
- Oversee the recruitment budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 20+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 10 years in technology hiring.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading large-scale recruitment teams and delivering on complex hiring goals.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technology roles, skill sets, and industry trends.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure success.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
