Job Description
Key Responsibilities.
Design, develop, and maintain web applications, web services, and APIs using .NET Core / .NET Framework and associated web technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and convert them into technical specifications. Implement effective, maintainable, and scalable solutions to meet business objectives. Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance and fostering best practices for coding, testing, and debugging. Lead technical discussions and decision-making in the design and implementation of development projects. Ensure adherence to coding standards and software development best practices. Evaluate and recommend application architecture patterns to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability. Participate in technical evaluations and lead efforts in evaluating new tools, frameworks, and technologies. Develop and maintain RESTful or SOAP-based APIs with ASP.NET Web API / Core. Design and implement integration layers with third-party services, databases, or other internal applications. Design and maintain database schemas and structures using SQL Server / Azure SQL. Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to optimize application performance. Write unit tests and collaborate with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure scalability and reliability. Collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, and project managers to gather and analyze requirements. Provide timely updates and feedback during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies. Communicate technical findings and challenges to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely. Configure deployment pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub Actions. Ensure proper versioning, testing, and deployment of solutions in cloud or on-premise environments. Monitor live application performance and respond to incidents. Identify, track, and resolve production issues to maintain system reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications.
Proficiency with .NET Core / .NET Framework, C#, and ASP.NET MVC / Web API. Strong knowledge of JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS3 and familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React / Angular / Vue.js. Experience with database design and optimization using SQL Server / Azure SQL. Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience implementing and designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Proficiency with Entity Framework / Dapper or other ORM tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit. Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques. Experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps Boards, or Trello. Education & Experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). Professional experience developing web applications and services with .NET. Experience in developing and deploying enterprise-scale web applications in production environments.
