Computer Hardware Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computer Hardware Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining clients' server and desktop infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance. Your responsibilities will include server administration, desktop support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance, providing technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently and enhance IT system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Server Administration:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers (Nvidia, HPE, Dell EMC, Supermicro etc.).
• Server monitoring and performance tuning.
• Troubleshooting server-related issues (hardware and software).
• Implementing and maintaining server security measures.
• Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V) basic knowledge.

Desktop Support:

• Provide technical support to end-users on desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications.
• Manage user accounts and permissions.
• Provide remote and on-site support to end-users.

General IT Support:

• Assist with network troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of all support activities.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in server and desktop support.
• 4 Years Strong understanding of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
• Experience with server hardware (Nvidia, HPE, Dell EMC, Supermicro).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in server administration (e.g., Microsoft Server, CompTIA Server+).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V).
