Required Skills:.
5-8 years of experience in delivering native mobile applications.
Primarily expert in Jetpack and Kotlin.
Experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices like SOLID principles for Android.
Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns like MVVM, MVP, VIPER.
Knowledge of Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
Good understanding of chart libraries available for Android.
Proven focus on code versioning, unit testing coverage, CI/CD and release practices.
Experience in implementing for ease of operation, maintenance and debuggability.
Proven responsiveness to customer issues and excellent debugging skills.
Desired Skills:.
Understanding of data networking architecture and protocols.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Experience in optimising the transformation, interactive filtering and rendering of large data.
Worked on platform-level components of Android.
