Role : Power BI developer

Location : Bangalore

Who are we looking for?

Power BI Developer : 5 to 8 years of experience

Technical Skills :

- Power BI Development : Proficient in building interactive dashboards, customizing visuals, and implementing best practices for clear and effective data communication.

- Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) : Intermediate ability to write calculated columns, measures, and queries for complex data calculations and analysis.

- SQL : Competent in writing basic SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from various relational databases.

- Data Modeling : Strong understanding of relational and star schema modeling, relationships, and hierarchies to ensure efficient report performance.

- Dashboard Design : Adept at creating visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that align with business goals and storytelling principles.

- Problem Solving : Analytical thinker with the ability to identify data inconsistencies and troubleshoot report issues.

- Communication : Clear communicator, capable of gathering requirements and presenting insights to stakeholders effectively.

Technical Tools :

- Power BI (Desktop, Service, and Mobile)

- SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

- Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query)

- Basic knowledge of ETL tools or processes (optional)

Experience :

- Developing Dashboards : Created dynamic, KPI-driven dashboards for [specific industries, e.g., retail, finance, or logistics], increasing visibility into key performance metrics.

- DAX Implementation : Used DAX functions to create custom measures for sales performance, trend analysis, and forecast modeling.

- Data Connectivity : Integrated multiple data sources into Power BI, including SQL databases, Excel files, and online services.

- Requirement Gathering : Worked closely with business teams to define objectives, ensuring dashboards meet their analytical needs.

Behavioral Skills :

- Very good communication skills

- Should be very interactive and top on deliverables being working from client environment

- Ready to learn new tools and technology

Qualification :

- Bachelor's or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.

- 5+ years of experience
