Hardware Design Engineer

• Support the schematic design from requirements to release.
• Support in driving discussions with external vendors and eco-system for Design choice of components, Design reviews, BOM checks and optimization, Identification of alternate components and perform cost analysis.
• Support Debug and Triage of Platform issues and provide consultation to the other cross-functional members for any clarification or help required by them on Platform Hardware.

Skills Required:

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in board and system design.
• Good hands-on experience on schematics entry with ORCAD or similar EDA tool.
• Experience with Layout reviews and component placement.
• Experience in circuit simulation tools like LT-Spice/PSPICE
• Hands on Experience in board bring-up and hardware debugging.
• Experience in debugging the embedded systems using JTAGs and Oscilloscopes
• BOM scrubbing, cost effective alternative component selection.
