What does the role involve?
Our products are specified by Engineers, Architects, Government bodies and other specialist design and engineering personnel. As a Specification
Consultant, you will be working with our customers, sales teams, contractors and designers to drive the sales of specific products and will have the
opportunity to work on exciting and ground breaking projects!
This involves building long-term relationships with specifiers to gain knowledge of specifications on projects and educating key influencers on
construction projects about the proper use, advantages and value of Hilti products.
Youll then communicate these product specs from design teams to sales teams, assigning account managers with their conversion into sales. It
means visiting job sites to assess design problems - as well as opportunities - giving technical advice, solutions and support, and adding value
through the use of Hilti products.
It also involves keeping track of specifications in CRM, communicating specifications through TS Mobile
Distribution of product information (Fastening Technology Manuals, technical literature, computer design software/discs) through field visits and/or
seminars. Conduct Technical seminars in specifiers offices and at potential sites to develop both short & long term business opportunities/leads for
company
Day to day, you’ll report to your Technical Manager who will help manage your career and long term aspirations

Construction)
What you need is:
• B.E./B.TECH degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structure Engineering
• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience of Specification Sales or Business Development – dealing with customers like Architects and Structure Consultants with a high
level of knowledge of design and construction process required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dynamic personality with strong winning and high performance mindset
• Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment
• Self-motivated and a quick learner
• Highly adaptable with a “can-do” attitude
