Job Description
- Hardware Management: Fixing issues and configuring new setups w.r.t Desktops/monitors/laptops/ Computer-accessories/Data cards/mobiles
- Make repairs and respond to support calls (in person or over the phone) and prioritize requests for IT support
- Supports remote users in a timely and efficient manner to minimize down time
- Provide technical advice and explanation as required
- Assist in training related to technical issues
- Supports/facilitate moves to ensure continuity of availability for the companys IT systems (software and hardware)
- Software/Troubleshooting: Installation, evaluation, repairs of Software and OS
- Ensure the installation, configuration and maintenance and troubleshoot issues related to IT hardware, software, network, and AV equipment
- Audio/video IT devices connectivity:
- Troubleshooting/Handling/ Installing various AV equipment (both audio/video)
- Installing/Troubleshooting equipment like Wireless routers, Network connectivity, Printers, and familiarity with using various Enterprise mobile applications
- Audits: Managing inventory /Purchases, Hardware refreshes and e-waste
- Maintaining Inventory and report damaged/ broken equipment so that replacements can be ordered
- Liaise with managers to ascertain user requirements and budgetary constraints
- Monitor use of company IT systems and ensures compliance with companys IT security policies and standards
- Assist in Projects and Operational tasks and work with other IT teams and/or external vendors to solve simple-to-complex problems
- BCA/BSc/BE/B.Tech or a Graduate with a diploma/certification degree in Computer Science/IT stream or someone with an interest in handling Computer hardware and networking.
- 0-3 years of total experience
- Applicants should have a good understanding of Computer hardware (including internal parts), Operating Systems (preferable W and tools used to identify and troubleshoot Hardware and software issues.
- Worked in a corporate environment and supporting 100+ end-users IT infrastructure needs
- Person who can exhibit first-class customer services and communicate proactively to end-users regarding overall progress of queries.
