Senior Machine Learning Engineer - NLP/Python (6-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement robust data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and transforming large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

- Develop data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Apply advanced machine learning techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, to solve complex problems.

- Develop and fine-tune deep learning models, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT and Gemini, for natural language processing tasks.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.

- Feature engineering and selection to optimize model performance.

- Model training, evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.

- Extract information from unstructured data sources, such as PDFs, using techniques like text mining, information extraction, and sentiment analysis.

- Develop and implement advanced NLP techniques, including text classification, named entity recognition, and text generation.

- Build and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance model performance and accuracy.

- Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.

- Monitor model performance, identify potential issues, and implement retraining strategies as needed.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into various applications and systems.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in machine learning and data science.

- Strong proficiency in Python and popular data science libraries (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).

- Expertise in working with large language models (LLMs) like GPT and Gemini.

- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques.

- Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) techniques, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and information extraction.

- Experience with vector databases, Azure Cloud, LangChain, Lama Index, and OCR tools.

- Knowledge of PDF to text extraction tools (PDFMiner, PyMuPDF, PDFPlumber).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- Experience in the insurance, legal, or healthcare industry.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks
