Software Engineer

Required Skills

• 3 to 6 years of experience developing e-commerce web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Core PHP, Laravel, and YII frameworks.
• Understanding software design patterns and MVC frameworks behind a scalable application
• In-depth knowledge of Mysql or PostgreSQL (Stored procedures, Triggers etc.).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Experience with jQuery, AJAX, Rest API, ReactJS, VueJS, and Node JS.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS, XML, and JSON.
• Awareness of various frontend, backend optimisation and caching techniques.
• Experience working with third-party APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of best practices for platform security and Web Application Vulnerabilities.
• Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology.
• Ability to work individually or in a team to beat tight deadlines.
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills & self-motivated.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality backend and frontend applications using PHP, Yii2 and related technologies, NodeJS, and VueJS.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define, design and implement new features and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate them into projects when applicable.
• Write clean, secure, scalable code that meets coding standards and best practices. Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
• Develop and maintain API integrations with third-party services.
• Programming databases, especially PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Take on multiple projects varying in size and complexity.
