About Us:

We are building a digital Freight forwarding Aggregation platform with the aim of digitizing customs clearance as a service and stitch together a seamless experience from the manufacturing doorstep to the end consumer by leveraging technology. We provide First mile consolidation, Freight forwarding, Customs clearance and Domestic warehousing and Last Mile Deliveries.

Role: Lead Supply

At the onset the role would require building a supply strategy right from onboarding to entire life cycle management while working closely with the technology and product teams. The incumbent will also be tasked with creating a plan of action for the overall supply program and its execution, pricing and other strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our supply chain operations are scalable, efficient and aligned with our vision of digitizing the freight forwarding process.

In our day to day we deal with international shipments, the role would entail creating a seamless onboarding journey for freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines and customs broker agents. A usual day in the office of the lead would look like -

- Overseeing supplier onboarding.

- Creating an evaluation framework for supplier performance.

- Looking at demand density for various lanes and build capacities.

- Meeting suppliers and customers to understand their various needs.

- Leading the supply function and creating a review mechanism for supply ops.

- Closely collaborating with technology and product teams to build a strong supply framework.

What an ideal candidate looks like:

- A knack for international supply chains.

- A clear understanding of products, programs and project management.

- A frugal technology first mindset towards experience and service.

- Ability to build and lead a large team remotely across geographies, including international borders.

- Proficiency in using ERP systems, and data analytics tools for supply chain optimization.

- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve supply-related challenges and optimize pricing strategies.

- Define and track KPIs such as supplier performance metrics, lane capacity utilization, and ontime delivery rates.

- Must have worked in a client/vendor onboarding role.

- Prior experience in a product lead environment is ideal.
