Role & responsibilities
Identify and target new business opportunities across industries
that use automotive, aerospace, metalworking, etc.
• Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with
customers, distributors, and channel partners.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports to
management.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity,
and new product demands.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Automation
components.
• Offer technical consultations to customers regarding
Automation parts, their compatibility, and their application.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide training for
customers, if required.
• Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to offer
tailored solutions to clients.
• Meet with customers regularly to assess their needs,
understand their pain points, and provide effective solutions.
• Assist clients with troubleshooting and resolving product
related issues in a timely manner.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining
the companys margins and profitability.
• Manage accounts to ensure repeat business and customer
loyalty.
• Identify new market segments and regions for the sale of
Automation parts.
• Plan and execute sales campaigns targeting various industries
across Pan India.
• Work closely with the marketing team to generate leads and
develop promotional activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, proposals, and
quotations.
• Track sales performance and meet monthly, quarterly, and
annual sales targets.
• Submit detailed feedback to management on customer needs,
competitor activity, and market conditions.
Requisite Skills:
• ITI, Diploma, Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineering
• Electrical Electronics instrumental & control mechanical or
related field.
• In-depth knowledge of automation systems, robotics, PLC
programming, machine control systems, and industrial
networking.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills to sell
complex, high-value systems.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales of Automation
parts or related industrial products.
• Experience in B2B sales, specifically in a technical field or
manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of successfully selling complex machinery,
parts, or equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics,
and specifications.
• Capable of managing multiple projects, deadlines, and
customer expectations simultaneously.
• Strong sales acumen with the ability to drive new business and
close deals effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their unique
needs.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India to meet
customers, attend industry events, and grow the business.
